Jerry Penry and Steve Brosemer wish to thank each of the 225+ of you that came to the event!  It was wonderful to see such a mix of people from all walks of life come together to celebrate a truly historical event that heretofore had been seriously underrated in significance!  Special thanks to all that helped.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
FRIDAY JUNE 24, 2005
10:00AM  Opening remarks and observe the original GLO stone.
10:15AM  Measure south one mile by link chain, steel tape, total station and RTK GPS. Crew Members Needed!  Certificates to the winners. 
               
Remonument the First Guide Meridian East stone with brass cap and concrete & iron monument box.
1:00PM  Lunch break  at the Liberty, NE Am. Legion Hall (no food provided) with an analysis of measurements
                and the Presentation of Commemorative paperweights to notables. Bring your own lunch, grilling space available.
 1:45PM  Presentations by Jerry Penry and Steve Brosemer on Charles Manners and Joseph Ledlie, respectively.
 2:45PM   Conclusion of Event or return to site for more measuring
